Following HM Governments recent announcements we have taken the unenviable decision to postpone the start of our RYA Classroom based courses until April 2021. We realise this will come as an immense disappointment and it's not decision we have taken lightly but our priorities must be for the safety and wellbeing of the students and staff in these challenging circumstances. The effect of another potential local lockdown, the self-isolation requirements within St. Thomas More Catholic Academy if you or one of their students shows symptoms is paramount. If this happens:
If you would like to wait until 2021 then it would be great to meet you then. Alternatively you can take the course On-line with us here at St. Thomas More Sailing here or via Instructor led Zoom classes with First Class Sailing here. The RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship (ENS) On-line is another option. This is a shorter more manageable course to do On-line and can be completed in about 16 hours. It covers the basic concepts of inshore navigation and safety in an easy to understand and enjoyable format. You can get more information and watch a short video about the course here If you do decide in the interim, as some already have, to enrol on our RYA ENS course let us know and we can offer you a discount on our current price. Included in the price will be a Course Plotter and set of Dividers. |
